Digital Account Opening - Documents for Identity Verification

Thanks for applying CIMB Current/Savings Account/-i.

If you are required to complete your application at branch for the account, please visit any branch near to you with the following documents:

• Your MyKad (compulsory)

You are highly encouraged to bring along any of the following supporting documents for further identification in case of ambiguity (e.g. MyKad chip cannot be read):

• Your University/College Student Card (for university/college students)
• Your Employment Letter (for customers who wish to sign up for CIMB@Work payroll account)
• Your Utilities Bill (for customers with a different mailing address than the permanent address)

Once you completed the verification, your account is opened and you may collect Debit Card at branch.
