Why must I opt-in to perform such CNP transaction and/or Overseas transaction?

In line with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM)’s guidelines, banks are required to block any CIMB Bank Kwik cardholder from making any CNP transaction and/or Overseas transaction which is not authenticated via strong authentication method such as dynamic password, unless the cardholder has expressly opted-in to conduct such transactions. This is to protect and prevent cardholders from becoming victims of fraudulent transactions.
