Can I choose to have the profit from my Term Investment Account-i (TIA-i) paid to my CASA account or added back to my Principal amount? How?

For TIA-i that was placed via CIMB Clicks, you may only update your profit payment mode via CIMB Clicks Web. Similarly, if you performed the TIA-i placement at Branch, you need to visit any CIMB branch to update your profit payment mode,

To update your TIA-i via CIMB Clicks Web, simply follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Log in to CIMB Clicks Web
  • Step 2: Select My Accounts from the side menu > scroll to TIA-i account > click on the ellipses (three dots) > Update FD/FRIA-i/TIA-i

If you wish to change your profit payment mode to credit to your CASA account instead of adding to principal, this can only be done for TIA-i placements made on board rate only. The profit for TIA-i placements made on special rate can only be paid back to the selected CASA/CASA-i.
