1. How do I activate my New / Replacement / Renewed Credit Card?

Follow the steps below to activate your New / Replacement / Renewed Credit Card:

New / Replacement Credit Card

Renewed Credit Card

  • Step 1: Login to the CIMB OCTO App > Tap More on the bottom right-hand corner.
  • Step 2: Tap Services > Manage Card > Credit Card Activation > Select Card you wish to activate.
  • Step 3: Set up your preferred 6-digit PIN 

(Note: Ensure that you are in a secure location with no one around you when doing this. Select a PIN that is unique and difficult to guess.)

  • Step 4: Review details of activation and Approve via SecureTAC

 

And now your credit card is ready for use!

  • Step 1: Login to the CIMB OCTO App > Tap More on the bottom right-hand corner.
  • Step 2: Tap Services > Manage Card > Credit Card Activation > Select Card you wish to activate.
  • Step 3: Tap on Existing PIN OR key in 6-digit New PIN.
  • Step 4: Review details of activation and Approve via SecureTAC.
  • Step 5: Don’t forget to dispose your existing credit card by cutting the magnetic strip and chip upon activation of your new card.
