1. I’ll be travelling outside Malaysia soon, do I need to activate overseas spending and withdrawal if I wish to use my CIMB credit card? How do I activate this?

Yes, you will need to activate it by following the steps below:

 

Step 1: Login to CIMB OCTO App > Tap on More on the bottom-right hand corner

Step 2: Tap on Services > Manage Card > Overseas Spending & Withdrawal

Step 3: Select the card that you wish to enable/disable for overseas spending and withdrawal permanently. You can also turn on the function temporarily by selecting a Start and End Date.

Step 4: Review details and Approve via SecureTAC
