Important Notice:

CIMB Clicks Online Banking and CIMB OCTO App security enhancements

 

Dear Valued Customers,

 

Starting end of June 2024, CIMB Clicks Online Banking and CIMB OCTO App will have new security features as listed below. This is part of our continuous efforts to further safeguard your online banking security against fraud, in line with the regulatory direction to combat financial scams.

 

  1. SecureTAC approval will be required for all fund transfers including Favorite transactions such as JomPAY, Pay Bills, Top Ups, transfer to own accounts, and more.
  2. The default Transaction Limit for Own Account transfers for newly registered CIMB Clicks and CIMB OCTO App users will be set at RM5,000.
  3. Any increase in Transaction Limit(s) on CIMB OCTO App will be subject to a 12-hour cooling-off period before taking effect, and The Transaction Limit function on CIMB Clicks App will no longer be available.
