Protect your Device from Malware

 

Starting from June 2024, as part of our on-going efforts to combat fraud and scams, we are introducing added security measures to the CIMB OCTO App (27 June 2024) and CIMB Clicks App (19 August 2024). This enhancement aims to protect users from potential fraud associated with malware that exploits screen sharing and accessibility permissions.

 

If you have enabled screen sharing and accessibility permissions for certain apps on your device, you will receive a pop up alert about this when you use CIMB OCTO App or CIMB Clicks App.

 

To continue using the Apps, you must disable screen sharing and turn off accessibility permissions for those apps and/or uninstall from your mobile device.
